BlackBook is your new company-wide address book. All users in your company can access these contacts, allowing for an easier flow of information between employees. From the BlackBook Server, you can control who can read contact information, edit contacts, and export/share contacts. And each user can set categories for easy sorting by contact type.
Relationship management is a breeze with BlackBook. Everyone in the same company will automatically be linked. Plus, you can manually add relationships such as family member, partner, assistant, and so on. This allows for quick jumping from one contact to another within the same relationship grouping.
BlackBook Contact Management was made on and for the Mac. With the clean interface we've all come to know and love, BlackBook provides an easy way to share contacts inside your company.

BlackBook Client is simple to use. Once connected to the server you are off and running, easily using bright icons to make your moves. Adding, deleting, and moving between contacts is a cinch.
BlackBook Server was built from the perspective of an Apple consultant. This means that while the interface is so easy to use, a lot of powerful options are packed into one small app: user lists, permissions, the ability to back up and restore on the fly, and data security, all right there at your fingertips!
We made it very easy for you to share a contact with someone else. Have an email account? Then you are all set. Pick the contact you want to share, click File -> Share Contact, and enter your recipient. BlackBook will create a new email for you with a subject line, and attach the vCard for you. Couldn't be easier!
We know that some of you want to import your old data from another application. BlackBook can import both vCards and tab-delimited text documents. With our easy field mapper, you can bring in those .txt files in a few clicks. BlackBook Client will import 100 contacts, and BlackBook Server will import ALL your contacts.
Click the + button and away you go. How much easier can it be?! Add the contact's information, photo, email address, and any additional information you need to save. See that email address you just typed? It's clickable! That's right, all web links will open simply by clicking on them.
Making the proper categories is so simple. Under the File menu, choose Categories. Remote categories are categories everyone can see. Once your categories are saved, simply choose the right one for your contact. The list view sorts by category, making your contacts easy to find!
BlackBook saves you TIME. With all your contacts at your fingertips, and using a very powerful built-in search tool, you don't need to spend a lot of extra time looking up contact info. Simply search for your contact and click on the name to see the information, or click on the contact's email address from the list view to open a new email with name and email address already in place!
Did you know you can see all your contacts from your BlackBook server on your iOS device? You can! BlackBook Server includes a CardDAV server. Simply connect to your IP on port 10211, and your contacts will appear in the Contacts app on your iOS device. (Note: In the Contacts app, contacts are read-only.)
We are currently working on an iOS native app, which will allow you to add and edit contacts right on your phone.
BlackBook Client and Server are 10.7 Lion ready. If you are running Mac OS X 10.5, 10.6, or 10.7, you can use BlackBook.
